Roundtrip is a technology company that helps hospitals, health plans, and other organizations remove transportation as a barrier to care for their patients or members. With Roundtrip, staff members can quickly order any vehicle type based on the patient need (rideshare (Lyft/Uber), wheelchair, even ambulance) so that all non-emergency transports can be centralized, tracked, managed, and recorded all in one place for the entire organization.
Roundtrip is a comprehensive solution, able to service all levels of patient transportation needs by offering a wide range of vehicle types in our single platform, including rideshare (Lyft/Uber), taxi, medical sedan, stretcher vans, and ambulances (BLS, ALS, and SCT). Fixed and rotor wing capabilities are under development.
Additionally, we support all payer types through our platform (i.e. Medicaid, Medicare, Facility, Patient).
Roundtrip does not supply the vehicles or transports. Rather, we help connect our clients with existing transportation companies in their region by providing a streamlined digital solution. The Roundtrip platform enables users to request any type of vehicle ride and allows transportation companies to claim the ride request, all within the digital Roundtrip Portal. No phone calls needed!
Your transportation network can expand through our Roundtrip Community - a network of credentialed, qualified transportation companies that have access to quickly claim Roundtrip rides, all within our digital portal. Roundtrip vastly improves booking efficiency by pushing ride requests out to the transportation companies in the Roundtrip Community that meet the patient's needs and operate in the service area.
Our mission is to eliminate transportation as a barrier to care. We’ve learned through partnerships with Johns Hopkins, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Geisinger, and hundreds of others across the country that the most efficient way for us to help people get to the doctor is by partnering with hospitals, clinics, governments, health plans, or other organizations. Once Roundtrip partners with your organization, your staff can use Roundtrip to request rides for patients and members. You can reach out to sales@roundtriphealth.com to learn more and get started.
If you’re a patient - tell your doctor, social worker, or care coordinator about us. Transportation becomes a problem for them when it is a problem for you. Once we partner with their organization, we can get you your ride.
Roundtrip is always accepting new transportation companies to join the Roundtrip Community. You can apply directly on our website.
Administrative users of Roundtrip can readily access the Reports Dashboard that shows ride volume, cost savings, top performing transportation companies, and more. This ride data can also easily be exported to analyze on a deeper level.
Additionally, Roundtrip will work with you to set KPIs, track monthly metrics, and understand your ride data to inform your transportation strategy, value to the organization, and performance relative to industry benchmarks.
Security of electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI) is fundamental to us. Roundtrip only collects the data that is necessary for coordinating the ride (i.e. name, phone number, etc.). Our cloud-based platform encrypts all data both at rest and in transit. Data is hosted in a Tier 1 secure hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, specializing in helping healthcare organizations achieve and maintain HIPAA and HITRUST security requirements.
We are rapidly expanding our nationwide network of transportation companies, and we have established a transportation presence in almost every state.
Roundtrip understands that our clients are coming from various starting points with their transportation strategy. Our solution has flexibility to accommodate preferred transportation companies, auto-assignments for exclusive contracts, allow/deny list, and more.
